Miles Overview
The 1995 M3 is BMW's high-performance coupe, the one enthusiasts cross-shop with the Porsche 911 and the Chevrolet Corvette. It's a genuinely thrilling car to drive, with a smooth, eager engine and a chassis that rewards confidence on a back road. The near 50/50 weight distribution makes it feel balanced and easy to place, though the steering is a bit lazy off-center on the 1995 model. The cabin is driver-focused and nicely built, but the rear seats are tight and better left for cargo than people. A 3.0L I6 and a manual transmission set the Base apart from the GT, which added a power-adjustable driver's seat and a few other extras. That 3.0L I6 makes 240 horsepower and drives the rear wheels through a manual transmission, giving you a responsive, engaging powertrain that rewards revving out.
