Miles Overview
The M8 is BMW's top-tier grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, or sedan. It's a car that shrinks around you on a back road, with sharp steering and a chassis that stays flat through fast corners. The ride is firm even in Comfort mode, but that stiffness pays off with the body control you get at speed. Inside, the cabin is snug but beautifully built, with supportive seats and the latest iDrive screen. More power and a firmer suspension tune set the Competition apart from the standard M8. Its 4.4L V8 makes 617 horsepower and flows through an eight-speed automatic that snaps off quick shifts when you're pushing hard. The Competition's standard M Sport exhaust gives the V8 a sharper note than the base car's system.
