2026 BMW M5 Touring

The M5 is BMW's high-performance take on the 5 Series, offered as a sedan or a Touring wagon for 2026. The all-wheel-drive system and adaptive suspension keep the M5 composed through corners, though it's a heavy car. Inside, the M5 gets a tech-forward cabin with a curved display and comfortable, supportive seats. The Touring swaps the sedan's trunk for a wagon body, giving you 57.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded. Its plug-in hybrid 4.4L V8 plug-in hybrid makes 717 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, with 25 miles of range of EV driving before the V8 wakes up. The wagon's roofline doesn't change the driving feel much, but you do sit a little higher than in the sedan.
