Miles Overview
The 2016 M6 is BMW's high-performance grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, or Gran Coupe four-door. It's a ballistic autobahn missile that also settles into a comfortable cruiser when you want it to. The ride is firmer than a standard 6 Series, but the trade-off is sharp handling and long-distance comfort. Inside, you get luxury comfort, high-tech options, and abundant safety features, though the rear seats are snug in the coupe. The base M6 coupe is the entry point to the M6 lineup, sharing its 553 horsepower with the Gran Coupe and convertible but keeping two doors and a lower base price. Its 4.4L I8 makes 553 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque, routed through a seven-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it'll hit 60 mph in the low three-second range while returning 16 mpg combined.
