Miles Overview
The M4 is BMW's mid-size performance coupe, and it's the one you cross-shop with the Audi RS5 and Mercedes-AMG C63. It's a sharp, engaging driver's car that rewards smooth inputs, and the steering is quick and precise. The ride is firm, especially in the stiffest settings, which is the trade-off for how flat it stays in corners. The cabin is driver-focused with supportive seats and a clean layout, though rear space is tight and the trunk is modest. The Competition xDrive sits above the rear-drive Competition and adds traction for all-weather confidence, while the lighter CSL sits above it with more power but no all-wheel drive.
