Miles Overview
The M4 is BMW's high-performance coupe and convertible, built to take on the Mercedes-AMG C63 and Audi RS5. It's a sharp, engaging driver's car, with a powerful engine that pulls hard and a chassis that feels eager through corners. The ride is firm, especially in the most aggressive settings, so you'll feel the road more than in a standard 4 Series. Inside, the cabin is driver-focused with supportive seats and quality materials, though rear seats are tight for adults. The Competition xDrive adds BMW's M xDrive all-wheel-drive system and a bump to 503 horsepower over the standard M4, making it the faster choice in the lineup. Its 3.0L I6 pairs with a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive to deliver 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, which gets you to 60 mph in about 3.4 seconds. The xDrive system defaults to a rear-biased split, and you can switch to pure rear-wheel drive for a more playful feel when the road opens up.
