Miles Overview
The M4 is BMW's high-performance version of the 4 Series, offered as a coupe or convertible. It's a car that rewards a confident driver, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels planted through fast corners. Inside, the cabin feels upscale and well-built, but rear seats are snug and the sloping roofline cuts into headroom. Expect to budget for premium fuel, pricey insurance, and tires that wear quickly if you drive it hard. The base M4 convertible skips the Competition Package's stiffer springs and adaptive dampers, which means a slightly more compliant ride for daily driving. Its 3.0L I6 makes 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it returns 19 mpg combined.
