2020 BMW M2 Competition

The M2 is BMW's compact performance coupe, the one that focuses purely on driving fun over luxury. Inside, the cabin is snug but well built, with supportive sport seats and a driver-focused layout. Expect higher running costs than a standard 2 Series, but the M2 holds its value well among enthusiasts. The Competition is the sweet spot for drivers who want the M2's sharp handling without the CS's price premium, adding more power and cooling over the standard M2. Its 3.0L I6 makes 405 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed manual and rear-wheel drive that make every shift and corner exit feel intentional. The Competition gets a firmer suspension tune and upgraded brakes, so the ride is stiff but the track-day capability is genuine.
