Miles Overview
The 6 Series is BMW's large grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, and the four-door Gran Coupe. It's a relaxed cruiser that eats up highway miles, with a smooth ride and plenty of power on tap. Inside, you get a high-quality cabin with comfortable seats and a generous amount of tech for the year. The Gran Coupe's four doors make it the practical pick, though the coupe and convertible are more about style. The 640i xDrive is the all-wheel-drive convertible version of the 6 Series, sitting below the V8-powered 650i models. Its 3.0L I4 makes 315 horsepower and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic, sending power to all four wheels for confident all-weather traction. Drop the top and you get open-air cruising with the wind in your hair, though the convertible body adds weight and cuts trunk space to 11.0 cubic feet of cargo space.
