Miles Overview
The 7 Series is BMW's flagship sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Mercedes S-Class and Audi A8. It drives with a composed, planted feel that makes long highway miles effortless, though the steering is lighter than in smaller BMWs. The cabin is spacious and quiet, with plenty of rear legroom and high-quality materials throughout. Standard tech includes a large infotainment screen with iDrive, plus available features like a head-up display and night vision. The 740Li xDrive swaps the 750Li's V8 for the six-cylinder, which saves you money and still gives you the long-wheelbase body and all-wheel drive. Its 3.0L I6 makes 315 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, so it's smooth and sure-footed in rain or snow. You get the same spacious rear seat and quiet cabin as the V8 cars, with the trade-off being less urgent passing power on the highway.
