Miles Overview
The 2010 3 Series is BMW's compact sports sedan, offered as a coupe, convertible, sedan, and wagon. It squares off against the Audi A4, Mercedes C-Class, and Lexus IS. The steering is quick and the chassis feels balanced, making it a joy on twisty roads. Inside, the cabin is driver-focused with high-quality materials, though rear legroom is snug in the coupe. The 335i is the enthusiast's pick, trading the 328i's fuel economy for a stronger engine and sharper performance. Its 3.0L I6 makes 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed manual and rear-wheel drive that returns 20 mpg combined. As a convertible, the 335i drops the roof for open-air driving, but the extra weight and snug rear seats are the trade-offs.
