Miles Overview
The 3 Series is BMW's compact sports sedan, offered as a coupe, convertible, sedan, or wagon for 2009. It's the benchmark for driving dynamics in its class, with sharp steering and a balanced chassis that makes every drive engaging. The cabin is driver-focused with high-quality materials, though rear legroom is tight in the coupe and convertible. Expect higher running costs than a typical compact sedan, with premium fuel and more frequent maintenance visits. The 3.0L I6 makes 300 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, delivering strong acceleration that earns 19 mpg combined in this coupe. Expect a firmer ride than the 328i from the sport-tuned suspension, which is the trade-off for the sharper cornering this xDrive coupe delivers.
