Miles Overview
The 1 Series is BMW's entry-level model, a compact coupe or convertible that prioritizes driving fun over back-seat space. It's a rear-wheel-drive sports car in miniature, with sharp steering and a balanced chassis that makes every drive engaging. The cabin is snug but well-built, with supportive seats and straightforward controls that put the focus on the road. Cargo space is tight, especially in the convertible, so plan for weekend bags rather than a full luggage set. Its 3.0L I6 makes 230 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual and rear-wheel drive, giving you a light, playful car that gets 22 mpg combined.
