Miles Overview
The 1 Series is BMW's entry-level model, a compact two-door that prioritizes driving fun over outright practicality. It's the rare small car that feels genuinely alive, with quick steering and a chassis that loves a back road. The ride is on the firm side, but that's the trade-off for how flat it stays through corners. Cabin space is snug, especially in back, and the trunk is modest, so think of it as a personal car rather than a family hauler. The 3.0L I6 makes 230 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual, sending power to the rear wheels for a classic sport-coupe feel. This coupe seats four and has 10.0 cubic feet of cargo space, so it's best as a daily driver for one or two people.
