Miles Overview
The 1 Series is BMW's entry-level model, a compact coupe or convertible that focuses on driving fun over luxury. It's a rear-drive BMW, so the steering feels direct and the chassis loves a twisty road. The cabin is snug but well-built, with supportive seats and a clean, driver-focused layout. That 3.0L I6 pulls hard from low revs, and with rear-wheel drive it's a genuine driver's car that returns 20 mpg combined. The convertible lets you drop the top on warm days, though it adds weight and cuts trunk space compared to the coupe.
