Miles Overview
The 1 Series is BMW's entry-level model for 2013, offered as a coupe or convertible. It's a rear-drive car with a naturally balanced feel, and the steering is quick and talkative. The cabin is snug but well laid out, with the coupe's rear seat best left for occasional use. Expect premium fuel and BMW's typical maintenance costs, though the standard maintenance plan helps early on. With 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque from the 3.0L I6 routed through the six-speed manual to the rear-wheel drive, this convertible pulls hard from any speed.
