Miles Overview
The 1 Series is BMW's entry-level model, a compact two-door that prioritizes driving fun over outright practicality. It's the rare small car that feels genuinely alive, with quick steering and a chassis that loves a back road. The ride is on the firm side, but that's the trade-off for how flat it stays through corners. Cabin space is snug, especially in back, and the trunk is modest, so think of it as a personal car rather than a family hauler. The convertible adds top-down fun but weighs roughly 3,638 pounds and swallows just 8.0 cubic feet of cargo space; if you're after the quickest 1 Series, the fixed-roof coupe will be a bit sharper.
