Miles Overview
This is BMW's mid-size executive sedan, the one that competes with the Audi A6 and Mercedes E-Class. It's a driver's car first, with sharp steering and a chassis that makes you want to find the twisty road. The ride is firm but controlled, a trade-off for the excellent body control you get in corners. The cabin is well built and roomy for four, with a trunk that swallows a couple of large suitcases. Its 3.0L I6 makes 255 horsepower and pairs with a smooth automatic transmission, and the all-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels with a rear bias that keeps the steering sharp.
