Miles Overview
The 2016 Z4 is BMW's two-seat roadster, the one you cross-shop with the Boxster and the SLK. It's a sharp, rear-drive sports car that loves a twisty road, and the steering is quick and direct. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how flat it stays through corners. The cabin is snug but well built, and the power hardtop folds away to give you open-air driving in seconds. The sDrive35i sits between the four-cylinder sDrive28i and the more powerful sDrive35is, giving you the smooth inline-six without the top-tier price. Its 3.0L I6 makes 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, and you'll see 20 mpg combined in mixed driving.
