Miles Overview
The 2016 Z4 is BMW's two-seat roadster, the one you cross-shop with the Boxster and the SLK. It's a sharp, rear-drive sports car that loves a twisty road, and the steering is quick and direct. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how flat it stays through corners. The cabin is snug but well built, and the power hardtop folds away to give you open-air driving in seconds. The sDrive28i is the entry-level Z4, trading the six-cylinder power of the sDrive35i for lighter weight and better fuel economy. Its 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, good for 26 mpg combined and a lively rear-drive feel.
