Miles Overview
The 2013 3 Series is BMW's compact executive sedan, offered as a sedan, coupe, and convertible, with a range of engines from a turbo four to a twin-turbo six. It competes with the Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Lexus IS, all of which offer similar luxury and performance. The 3 Series is known for its sharp steering and balanced chassis, making it one of the most engaging compact sedans to drive. The sedan offers a practical trunk and comfortable rear seats, while the coupe and convertible trade some space for style. Reliability is a mixed bag, with some owners reporting costly repairs, but the driving experience keeps many coming back. The 335i sits above the 328i in the lineup, trading a bit of fuel economy for the extra punch of its turbocharged inline-six. With 3.0L I6 making 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, the six-speed manual rear-wheel drive setup makes this 335i a joy to row through the gears. Expect a firm ride on the standard sport-tuned suspension, which is the trade-off for the sharp handling this trim is known for.
