Miles Overview
The 3 Series is BMW's compact luxury sedan, offered this year as a sedan, wagon, coupe, and convertible. It's the benchmark against which the Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class are measured. The steering feels direct and the chassis is eager, making it a joy on a twisty road. The ride is firm but compliant, a fair trade for the sharp handling. A more powerful engine and a sport-tuned suspension set the 335is apart from the 335i. With 320 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque from the 3.0L I6, the 335is pulls hard through the six-speed manual. The 335is gets unique wheels and a sport exhaust that gives it a sharper note than other 3 Series coupes.
