Miles Overview
The 7 Series is BMW's flagship sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Mercedes S-Class and Audi A8. It drives with a balance of comfort and athleticism that few large sedans match, even in this generation. The cabin is spacious and hushed, with plenty of room for four adults and a trunk that swallows luggage. Standard iDrive with a large screen handles navigation and audio, and options like night vision and a head-up display were available. The 750i skips the long-wheelbase extra space to save money and keep the standard car's slightly sharper handling, but the 750Li is only a few thousand more if you want more rear legroom. A 4.4L V8 makes 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic, which gives it effortless passing power and a deep, smooth pull.
