Miles Overview
The 2018 6 Series is BMW's grand-touring flagship, offered as a sleek Gran Coupe or a drop-top convertible for those who want luxury with a sporting edge. It's a car that loves the highway, settling into a long-legged cruise with effortless power and a hushed cabin, though the ride can feel a bit firm over sharp bumps. Despite its size, it changes direction with surprising agility, and the steering gives you a clear sense of what the front tires are doing. Inside, you get a beautifully crafted cabin with comfortable seats and plenty of tech, but rear headroom in the Gran Coupe is tight for taller passengers. The 640i xDrive Gran Turismo trades the Gran Coupe's sleek roofline for a more spacious hatchback body and standard all-wheel drive, giving you extra cargo flexibility and all-weather traction. Its 3.0L I6 makes 335 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering smooth, effortless acceleration that's a perfect match for long-distance touring. The Gran Turismo's adjustable air suspension is standard, letting you soften the ride for highway cruising or firm it up when the road gets twisty.
