Miles Overview
The 5 Series is BMW's executive sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Audi A6 and Mercedes E-Class. It's a car that shrinks around you on a twisty road, with accurate steering and a planted feel at speed. Inside, the cabin is quiet and well-built, with supportive seats and plenty of room for four adults. The iDrive infotainment system is one of the easier ones to use, with a crisp screen and logical menus. The 530i xDrive trades the 540i's silky inline-six for a four-cylinder, saving you thousands while keeping the same all-weather traction.
