Miles Overview
The 2019 BMW 5 Series is a midsize luxury sedan that slots between the 3 Series and 7 Series, offering a balance of comfort and sportiness. It goes up against the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, and Lexus GS, all of which offer similar blends of luxury and technology. The 5 Series drives with a composed, refined feel, and the steering is precise enough to make it enjoyable on a twisty road. The ride is firm but well-controlled, which is the price you pay for its athletic handling prowess. Inside, the cabin is spacious and quiet, with high-quality materials and a user-friendly iDrive infotainment system. Its 335 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque pair with the eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive for smooth, confident power in any weather, yet it still returns 23 mpg combined.
