2008 BMW 7 Series 750Li

The 7 Series is BMW's flagship sedan, the car that sets the tone for the rest of the lineup. It's a big car that shrinks around you on a back road, with precise steering and a planted feel. The cabin is a quiet, well-finished place with plenty of room for four adults and their luggage. The iDrive system controls most functions, and it takes some getting used to, but it's powerful once you learn it. The 750Li is the more popular pick for buyers who want V8 grunt without stepping up to the V12-powered 760Li. Its 4.8L I8 makes 360 horsepower routed through a six-speed automatic transmission to the rear-wheel drive, and it'll return 18 mpg combined.
