Miles Overview
The Z4 is BMW's two-seat roadster, a convertible built for open-air driving and weekend canyon runs. It's a sharp, balanced sports car that feels eager through corners, though the ride is firm on rough pavement. Inside, the cabin is snug but well laid out, with supportive seats and a clean dashboard that puts the driver first. Standard tech includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and a head-up display. The sDrive 30i is the base version of the Z4, which means you skip the M40i's six-cylinder for a more affordable entry into BMW's roadster. Its 2.0L I4 makes 255 horsepower and sends power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic, which keeps it lively without the weight of all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is solid at 28 mpg combined, and the 30i's soft top folds in about 10 seconds at speeds up to 31 mph.
