Miles Overview
The 8 Series is BMW's large luxury coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe, aimed at buyers who want a grand tourer with serious presence. It's a big car that shrinks around you on a back road, with sharp steering and a chassis that stays composed even when you push it. Inside, the cabin is quiet and trimmed with high-quality materials, and the Gran Coupe's rear seats and trunk make it a practical daily driver. The standard tech includes a large curved display with iDrive, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a head-up display on most trims. A 523 horsepower V8 and standard all-wheel drive set the M850i xDrive Gran Coupe apart from the 840i trims below it. The 4.4L I8 pairs with a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering strong thrust from any speed and rated at 19 mpg combined. An adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled dampers is standard here, letting you switch from a comfortable cruise to a taut back-road setup.
