Miles Overview
The 8 Series is BMW's flagship grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe. It lines up against the Mercedes-Benz SL and the Lexus LC, blending luxury with a sporting edge. The 8 Series feels planted and precise, with strong grip and a composed demeanor on winding roads. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in rich materials and offers generous space for a grand tourer. Choosing the M850i xDrive over an 840i swaps the inline-six for a 4.4L V8 and adds standard all-wheel drive. With 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque routed through a eight-speed automatic, the M850i xDrive surges forward with effortless muscle.
