2013 BMW 5 Series 535i xDrive

The 5 Series is BMW's mid-size luxury sedan, the one that splits the difference between the 3 Series and the 7 Series. It's the rare sedan that feels lighter than it is, with sharp steering and a chassis that stays composed on a back road. The ride is firm but controlled, and the cabin stays quiet at highway speeds, which makes long trips easy. Inside, you get a clean, driver-focused cabin with supportive seats and enough rear legroom for adults. Its 3.0L I6 makes 300 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic, giving it quick, linear thrust that makes daily driving effortless. The xDrive system sends power to all four wheels for confident traction in rain or snow, though you'll feel a bit more weight over the nose than in the rear-drive 535i.
