Miles Overview
This is BMW's compact sports sedan family, the one that defined the segment and still sets the benchmark for how a small BMW should drive. The steering is quick and precise, and the chassis feels balanced and eager through corners, making it a joy on a back road. The ride is firm but controlled, so you feel the road more than in a Lexus, but it never gets harsh on the highway. Inside, the cabin is driver-focused with high-quality materials, though rear legroom is tight and the trunk is modest by today's standards. If you need all-weather traction without giving up the 3 Series character, the 325xi is the pick over the rear-drive 325i. Its 2.5L I6 makes 184 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, and the all-wheel drive gives you confident grip in rain or snow.
