Miles Overview
The 6 Series is BMW's grand tourer, offered as a coupe or convertible with a focus on long-distance comfort and style. It's a car that rewards smooth inputs, with a chassis that feels composed and planted on sweeping roads. Inside, the cabin is snug for four but the front seats are supportive and the materials feel premium. Reliability is a mixed bag; the electronics and cooling system are known trouble spots as the car ages. The 645Ci is the sole trim for the 2005 6 Series, offered as either a coupe or this convertible, with no more powerful sibling in the range. The convertible's power-folding hardtop gives you coupe-like quiet when up and open-air freedom at the touch of a button, though it eats into trunk space.
