Miles Overview
The 6 Series is BMW's grand tourer, a sleek coupe or convertible that prioritizes style and long-distance comfort over pure track work. It's a relaxed cruiser on the highway, with a smooth ride and a cabin that stays quiet at speed. The steering is precise and the chassis feels composed, though it's more about effortless touring than razor-sharp responses. Inside, you get supportive seats and high-quality materials, but rear seats are tight and the trunk is modest for a car this size. The 650i is the one to get if you want the full 6 Series experience without chasing the M6's sharper edge: same V8, the same grand-touring character. Its 4.8L I8 makes 360 horsepower and sends it through a smooth six-speed automatic or an optional manual, making this coupe quick without feeling frantic. The optional Active Steering adjusts the ratio depending on speed, which tightens things up in parking lots and keeps the car planted during highway lane changes.
