Miles Overview
The M6 is BMW's grand touring coupe for 1988, the two-door flagship that pairs luxury with serious performance. It's a car that rewards smooth inputs, with a high-revving six that pulls hard through the gears and a chassis that feels planted at speed. The steering is quick and precise, and the suspension keeps body roll in check, so you can carry real speed through sweeping corners. Inside, the cabin is snug but well laid out, with supportive sport seats and a driver-focused dashboard that puts everything within reach. The M6 is the flagship coupe, with a more powerful engine and sportier suspension than the standard 6 Series. Its 3.4L I6 makes 256 horsepower and pairs with a manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving it strong highway passing power. The M6's chassis is tuned for sharper cornering, so you feel the road more, but the trade-off is a firmer ride on rough pavement.
