Miles Overview
The 2009 6 Series is BMW's grand tourer, a large two-door offered as a coupe or convertible with a luxurious cabin. It's a car that eats highway miles with ease, yet it still feels planted and eager when the road turns twisty. Inside, you get a driver-focused cockpit with high-quality materials and comfortable seats for four, though rear legroom is tight. The trunk is modest for a car this size, so plan for weekend bags rather than a full luggage set. The 650i is the only trim for the 2009 6 Series, so your choice is between the coupe and this convertible with its power-folding top. Its 4.8L I8 makes 360 horsepower and pairs with a smooth automatic transmission sending power to the rear-wheel drive, giving you effortless highway passing and a relaxed cruise. The convertible's insulated top keeps the cabin quiet at speed, though the extra weight over the coupe softens the steering feel a bit.
