Miles Overview
The 2009 6 Series is BMW's grand tourer, a large two-door offered as a coupe or convertible with a luxurious cabin. It's a car that eats highway miles with ease, yet it still feels planted and eager when the road turns twisty. Inside, you get a driver-focused cockpit with high-quality materials and comfortable seats for four, though rear legroom is tight. The trunk is modest for a car this size, so plan for weekend bags rather than a full luggage set. The 650i is the sole trim for the 2009 6 Series, so this is the one you get with the V8 and rear-wheel drive. Its 4.8L I8 makes 360 horsepower and sends it to rear-wheel drive, giving you strong highway passing punch and a smooth, refined cruise.
