Miles Overview
The Z3 is BMW's two-seat roadster from the late '90s and early 2000s, sold as a convertible or a coupe. It's a proper driver's car, with quick steering and a balanced chassis that makes it a joy on twisty roads. The cabin is snug but well laid out, and the trunk is surprisingly roomy for a roadster, so you can fit a weekend's luggage. Owners mention the soft top can leak and the shifter can feel notchy, but the engines are known to be durable. Stepping up from the 2.5i to the 3.0i gets you a larger engine with more power, plus standard leather upholstery and a power top. The 3.0L I6 makes 225 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque, and with the five-speed automatic it's a relaxed cruiser that still feels quick when you push it. The 3.0i came with a sport suspension as standard, which firms things up for cornering without ruining the ride on rough roads.
