Miles Overview
The 3 Series was BMW's compact luxury sedan, coupe, and convertible, competing with the Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It's a driver's car: the steering is direct and the chassis feels balanced, making every drive engaging. The cabin is driver-focused with high-quality materials, though rear seat space is tight in the coupe and convertible. Running costs are on the higher side, with cooling system and electrical issues common as the car ages. The 325Ci trades the 330's extra power for a lower entry price, but you still get the same sweet-handling chassis. Its 2.5L I6 makes 184 horsepower and pairs with a smooth-shifting manual or optional automatic, sending power to rear-wheel drive. The convertible top is power-operated and fully lined, so it's quiet enough for highway conversation with the roof up.
