Miles Overview
The 3 Series is BMW's compact sports sedan, offered as a sedan, coupe, or convertible for 2001. It's the benchmark for driving feel in its class, with direct steering and a chassis that communicates every surface. The ride is firm but compliant, soaking up bumps without ever feeling floaty. The cabin is driver-focused and well-built, though rear seat space is tight in the coupe and convertible. Its 2.5L I6 sends 184 horsepower to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic, and the powertrain is smooth and responsive enough for daily driving.
