Miles Overview
The 8 Series is BMW's large luxury coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe, aimed at buyers who want a grand tourer with serious presence. It's a big car that shrinks around you on a back road, with sharp steering and a chassis that stays composed even when you push it. Inside, the cabin is quiet and trimmed with high-quality materials, and the Gran Coupe's rear seats and trunk make it a practical daily driver. The standard tech includes a large curved display with iDrive, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a head-up display on most trims. The M850i xDrive is the step below the full M8, trading some track focus for a more livable grand-touring character while keeping the V8 and all-wheel drive. Its 4.4L V8 makes 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which gets it to sixty in the mid-three-second range. The coupe body has two doors and four seats, and the standard adaptive suspension keeps it composed on long highway stretches.
