Miles Overview
The 8 Series is BMW's flagship grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe. It's a car that shrinks around you on a back road, yet settles into a relaxed cruise on the highway. The ride is firm but well-damped, so you feel the road without being beaten up by it. Inside, you get a hushed cabin with high-quality materials and comfortable seats for four. Its 3.0L I6 makes 335 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque, routed through a smooth eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, and returns 23 mpg combined. This coupe body style means you get the sleekest roofline in the 8 Series range, though rear-seat access is tighter than in the Gran Coupe.
