Miles Overview
The 7 Series is BMW's flagship sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Mercedes S-Class and Audi A8. Even in base form it feels genuinely quick, and the big BMW stays composed when you push it down a back road. The air suspension soaks up bumps beautifully, and the cabin stays hushed at highway speeds. Inside, you get a plush, tech-heavy cabin with plenty of room for four adults and a big trunk. The 740e gives you the plug-in hybrid powertrain the 740i doesn't have, plus standard all-wheel drive. The EPA rates it at 27 mpg combined, and you can plug it in overnight for a full charge.
