Miles Overview
The 7 Series is BMW's flagship sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Mercedes S-Class and Audi A8. Even in base form it feels genuinely quick, and the big BMW stays composed when you push it down a back road. The air suspension soaks up bumps beautifully, and the cabin stays hushed at highway speeds. Inside, you get a plush, tech-heavy cabin with plenty of room for four adults and a big trunk. If you want all-weather grip without stepping up to the V8, the 740i xDrive is the pick over the rear-drive 740i. The 3.0L I6 makes 320 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic, which is smooth and quick to respond in daily driving. The xDrive system adds confidence in rain or snow, and fuel economy is a reasonable 23 mpg combined.
