Miles Overview
The 7 Series is BMW's flagship sedan, the one that goes up against the S-Class and A8 with a mix of luxury and sharp driving manners. It's a big car that shrinks around you on a back road, with steering that's more direct than you'd expect from a limousine. The air suspension soaks up rough pavement beautifully, and the cabin stays hushed even at highway speeds. Inside, you get a sprawling, tech-heavy cabin with massaging seats and plenty of room for four adults to stretch out. The 740i xDrive adds all-weather traction with xDrive all-wheel drive over the rear-drive 740i, while keeping the same smooth inline-six. Its 3.0L I6 makes 320 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic, delivering effortless highway passing and an EPA-rated 23 mpg combined. This trim can be ordered with the Executive Package, which adds soft-close doors, a panoramic sky lounge roof, and rear-seat entertainment.
