Miles Overview
The 2024 BMW 4 Series is a compact luxury coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe that sits between the 3 Series sedan and the larger 5 Series. It competes with the Audi A5 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, offering a more driver-focused alternative to those rivals. The 4 Series delivers sharp steering and a balanced chassis, making it genuinely engaging on a twisty road. The ride is firm, especially with larger wheels, but that tautness is the price of its cornering composure. Inside, the cabin is well-built and driver-focused, with comfortable front seats and a clean, modern layout. Its 2.0L I4 makes 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, paired with a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that deliver sure-footed traction in all weather and an EPA-rated 27 mpg combined. With four doors and 45.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, this Gran Coupe body style is the one to pick if you need hatchback versatility from a coupe-shaped car.
