Miles Overview
The 6 Series is BMW's grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, and the four-door Gran Coupe. It's a car that eats up highway miles with ease, yet it still feels eager when you push it through a winding road. The ride is composed and quiet, though the run-flat tires can make sharp impacts feel a bit firm. Inside, you get a beautifully built cabin with supportive seats and plenty of room up front, though rear legroom is tight in the coupe and convertible. The 650i xDrive Gran Coupe gives you the V8 power and all-weather grip of the top 6 Series without stepping up to the M6's more track-focused suspension. Its 4.4L I8 makes 448 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque, routed through the eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, so it launches hard in any weather and pulls strongly at any speed. Fuel economy is 18 mpg combined, which is the trade-off for having that effortless thrust on tap whenever you want it.
