2016 BMW 6 Series 640i xDrive Gran Coupe

The 6 Series is BMW's grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, and the four-door Gran Coupe. It's a car that eats up highway miles with ease, yet it still feels eager when you push it through a winding road. The ride is composed and quiet, though the run-flat tires can make sharp impacts feel a bit firm. Inside, you get a beautifully built cabin with supportive seats and plenty of room up front, though rear legroom is tight in the coupe and convertible. The 640i xDrive Gran Coupe is the all-weather four-door, giving you the same smooth inline-six as the 640i coupe but with rear doors and grip for snowy roads. Its 3.0L I6 makes 315 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that deliver effortless passing power and sure-footed traction in any weather. The Gran Coupe's extra doors and wheelbase mean you get usable rear seats and 13.0 cubic feet of cargo space, making it the most practical 6 Series you can buy.
