Miles Overview
The 6 Series is BMW's large grand tourer, offered as a coupe, convertible, and the four-door Gran Coupe. It's a relaxed cruiser that eats up highway miles, with a smooth ride and plenty of power on tap. Inside, you get a high-quality cabin with comfortable seats and a generous amount of tech for the year. The Gran Coupe's four doors make it the practical pick, though the coupe and convertible are more about style. If you want the 6 Series' sleek Gran Coupe shape with all-weather traction, the 640i xDrive is the one to pick over the rear-drive 640i. Its 3.0L I6 makes 315 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that gets 23 mpg combined. The xDrive system adds a bit of weight and a slightly firmer ride, but it gives you confident grip in rain or snow.
