Miles Overview
The 6 Series is BMW's grand-touring coupe, offered as a two-door, a convertible, and the four-door Gran Coupe. It's a car that feels more at home on a long, sweeping highway than a tight canyon road, which suits its luxury mission. Inside, the cabin is quiet and well-finished, with comfortable seats and plenty of room up front, though rear space is tight in the coupe. Expect premium maintenance costs and the need for run-flat tires, but the 6 Series holds its value reasonably well. The 640i xDrive Gran Coupe blends the four-door practicality of the Gran Coupe body with all-weather grip from the xDrive system. Its 3.0L I8 makes 315 horsepower and works with the eight-speed automatic, returning 23 mpg combined in mixed driving.
